It's updated history. One of the valuable things about this particular web site is the presentation of current facts (in the webmistress' words) as opposed to the many mis-historical things contained in older books. There's a lot of things now being debunked by modern scholars.

Everyday it becomes more difficult to know who or what to believe.

That's why we're encouraging the new pagans to read more current history rather than the "classic," older books that still carry the misinformation. Riding the "persecution of women/witches" wave is being educated out of them, at least that's the goal.
