I am sick of summer and ready for fall.

Holy Cow, COT. Me too. About the time the World Series is on the Scrabble Board comes out. Fall is by far my favorite time of year. Crisp weather, football, tailgating, fun holidays, family gatherings, cool weather cook-outs, sitting by the fireplace, the first wisps of snowy weather, not as much yard work, and no mosquitos...I am so ready!

and, of course, all of the great things in the clip!

Here in Houston, I'll have to wait months for the first cold weather, but once it dips into the 60s I fall in love.

I want to cook and bake again. It is too hot for much of that in the summer.

mmm, i'm hungry now...homemade bread....

Flannel sheets sounds like a winner, it drops to the mid-50's at night.

I would say your summers are really hot in Houston, BNM. Summer is my favorite season in WV and it always seems to be too short! Don't get me wrong, I love fall; the colors are beautiful and there's nothing more I enjoy than a WV ballgame or a tailgate party. But fall reminds me that old man winter is just around the bend . . . brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I hate winter

Fall? What's that? Oh, oh, oh...you mean still summer. Yeah, I like that time of year, except for the mini-season included within...hurricane season.

Fall is my favourite season too. I love the colours. There's still lots of flowers, the leaves on some trees change faster than others so there's red, orange, yellow and still green. My favourite event which should be a holiday, Hallowe'en, and my birthday which I still love to celebrate no matter how old I am.

I guess my gripe is that it's over so fast up here. And then it usually turns cold. Halloween, which i've always looked forward to, is kinda miserable. The kids can't just wear their costume, they have to have mitts, etc. because it's just too cold. We like to go watch the fireworks, but i'm usually dancing around trying to keep the heat in my extremities. Or you sit in the car, but then you're dealing with foggy windows.
But I do love autumn with the tree's all changing colours, and another reason is because my birthday is in the fall, like your's Tanya!

oh, how different things are here, Lollipop. Halloween can be cool, but it is usually hot and muggy. So all the kiddoes are sweating in their little costumes and being eaten by mosquitoes. Haha. Still worth it for the candy.

Oh that's interesting. Life just isn't perfect anywhere, is it? Not that i have any serious problems or anything, pretty fortunate, actually.
