time and money well spent?

EDIT: okay so perhaps that was a bit harsh. I think it's a really cool venture (from an artistic perspective) and i fully respect everyone that had anything to do with making it all happen....I just think that for such a massive undertaking it has rather limited direct application.
And hey it is a lot of money!
