The Army should be required by law to disclose facts like this to recruits. They should know how Army life affects divorce rates, suicide rates, etc., before they sign up.

They make the army sound so glamorous and noble. The truth is so different.

I've heard that recruiters have really been drudge-ing the depths these last seven years...I wonder if the larger number of suicides could be partly attributed to a larger number of (previously) emotionally unstable recruits. This, of course, would not release the services from some modicum of responsibility...
