The story sounds somewhat bogus, BBW, since assuming that by 'valerian' they mean 'valerian root', which typically relaxes muscles and calms the nerves, although it sounds like it had the opposite effect, if true.

Next time you have a big problem that's really getting your worry factor up - take 2 valerian root tablets... your problems won't disappear, but your worries will sure seem to melt... at least for a while.
