I guess that 'framing' a traumatic memory at cortical level helps, maybe related to the very old idea that watching horror movies, speculatibe fiction etc give shape and therefore ameliorate some of our more primitive fears. I think anything that brings people into living in the moment as opposed to living in the past or the future can have positive effects psychologically and physicaly I just got into games on my itouch recently And they're a great distraction from reality Everything in moderation Balance is important |
