alanocu says: 'Writer Eric Weiner spent a year exploring the world’s happiest places for his book ‘‘The Geography of Bliss.’’ He used the science of happiness as a guide, as well as some hunches. Here are some random thoughts on the world’s hot spots of happiness.' How about the Thailand boy's smile? Nice clip! Now I am going to my happy place! great clip. 10x alan. i knew it !! Happiness is a matter of Geography !!! so happy to validate it finally ... it's all about where have you been born OR where have you chosen to .... !! i certainly chose .... mm .... mmm ...nn .. netherlands ??? didn't i just see Switzerland ranked as number 1 for suicides in yer other clip? Sorry if I am wrong. Plus: I don't think the lower castes find India all that happy...seems to me all this happiness ranking depends greatly on who you are. Hey Alan, Taiwan is a long way from Thailand. Great clip. Thanks yo BOSTON is a happy place yall mmmmmmmm yeh gotta represent BOSTON woop wooop yeah!!!!! Alan, though not from the US myself I had similar experience; having truly never thought of living anywhere outside of Canada, traveling to Europe made me take a look and actually consider the possibility. Fell right in LOVE! I saw tremendous beauty in places, and in people as well. But this is, of course, as an individual thing .. although I loved and could live quite happily in probably more than one place, Canada is my home and I love her; and at least for now, am happy to be in BC. Montreal still tops my list even though I live in Indiana now.Home is I suppose where the heart is. Actually, the UK is NOT one of the happiest places. They have been struggling with how to inject happiness into society as a genuine issue recently. I'm from the UK and I'm really happy so there...another really happy place is Clipmarks Classic View. It's light and airy and fast unlike the torturous dark cavern that is ClipCast View. Shudder shudder!!!! Alan: I just clipped the following from YOUR clip on Suicide prevention ads. 2. Don't Jump, Switzerland
I'm pretty positive that the highest number of suicides is noted in Japan. I totally dig and had happy times at Salisbury beach and Hampton beach,Mass. alanocu. As for most suicides, I still have to defer to the poor misery of bunnies. (see clip) nice and easy Alan...very nice and most wonderful...thanks for this clip... |
