Why do they keep saying things as though they are a surprised. Men and Women are not identical. They have the same value, so are equivalent. If we had not come to terms with the difference, we would all have gone insane a long time ago. As they say in France "Viva la difference"- Through the difference, we have life.
When two people can see the same thing with slightly different basic perspective, the creative potential multiplies. It can also mean there is generally more than one reason for doing anything.

Boy! do they ever. My husband and I have completely different routes to get to our local tennis facility. He thinks his is best...I think mine is; but we both arrive at the same place. so, when he drives we go his way. When I do, mine. Just an example. :~)

The larger question is whether this is a difference but why is there a difference. Is it because of the difference in chromosome, or is it a matter of mental exercise the result of generations of cultural gender-specific emphasis of only traits?

Like we didn't know. Gee, Women are different from men and that's the way it's intended to be. And that's the way I like it.

That is obvious man and women are different no one disagrees. But there is passion in the why, accounting scientifically for those differences will dismitify a lot of social primeval negative discriminations and there will come a time where people will do things only because they are good at it or they wish to do so because of such explanations.
It's a classical nature vs. nurture question. Whouldn't you want to know why you are the way you are? What is wired, what carved in you, and what is left out is there any free will in it? It's just a simple wanting to know who we are.
