mahsai says: From Flickr:Erica Joy. It's as ugly as the rest of Google. I don't see this as competition for clipmarks. But fellas... be ready to get a nice fat offer cuz once they discover they can't compare, you know it's coming. If ya sell out to Google -- be sure to invite us clippers to the cafeteria for the free lunch Well, personally,I would not like to expand to see the full content. It should be right there,full-sized,three columns as in clipmarks. Also, sure it does not look nice, nor does it have a community look and feel, let's again call it 'Simplicity'. Clipmarks is more conversational than personal storage oriented. I need an online notepad capable of inserting web-pictures, web-text, links. Sorry that Clipmarks can't do it. Google can. Also, the UI of Clipmarks gives little space to clips (see clipclip.org for a UI oriented to full view of clips). Finally, Clipmarks clips can't be shared, only a URL pointing to them. Guys, it's time you update this thing. yeah, that doesn't look very useable at all! looks just like everything else on google. not very colorful, and i think the actual concept of something you've "clipped," as if from a magazine, is represented a million times better with the clipmarks UI. |
