That's a big freaking number of people to be let go.

You know they took on LaSalle Bank's mortgages last September; and they took over Salomon Smith Barney a couple of years ago. I'm not surprised their eyes have become bigger than their stomachs. Everyone is trying to cash in on the recession in one way or another.

I wonder if it's time to start hiding our money under the mattresses instead of a bank.
