It broadly mocks Washington's efforts to revive the economy? Please! That effort is clearly associated with Obama and it uses a monkey to depict him, a racist image. The message that "someone else" will now be needed indicates that the cartoon has someone in particular in mind in the representation of the dead chimp. That someone is clearly Barack Obama.

Can people be this dense...the answer is as seen just above me, yes. Read the damn history books for God sake! Equating African Americans with primates is an old racist canard. If they had compared Obama with an elephant it may have been funny (except for the part about getting shot, that is a different can of worms) but not racially motivated because there is not history of equating African Americans with pachyderms.

If the Dems use this type of cartoon, as they have in the past to describe Pres. Bush it's okay.

It's violent! Is the woman attacked by the chimp even certain to live? What a sick cartoon. Pretend it is Bush for a moment. The picture then suggests that 2 cops murdered the President. All forms of violence from the Right toward "commie liberals" have increased. Political spree killers, already imbalanced after a steady diet of heat from right-wing radio, are more likely than ever to use violence as intimidation.
