 willhelm says: There is another reference to this -3 days- that is in the Old Testament book of Hosea. Refer to Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us: he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After 2 days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. The story of Joseph & Pharaoh is another Messianic prophecy given in The Torah re: 3 days. Gen 40:12 And Joseph said unto him, This [is] the interpretation of it: The three branches [are] three days: Gen 40:13 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. Gen 40:18 And Joseph answered and said, This [is] the interpretation thereof: The three baskets [are] three days: Gen 40:19 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy...
