This is just nuts.

Ridiculous!

I am a mature student (well, the mature part is up for debate of course .....but having now been back in school the first thing that struck me was how very little I actually have to "write". I use my computer for almost everything and I try to draw/ mindmap my notes in class. So it wasn't until I got to my final exams where we are required to handwrite something like 15 essays over the space of a few days.....that I was surprised to find myself with my hands in great pain by weeks end. It was a real struggle to even get the last of what I wanted to say on paper, never mind what my penmanship actually looked like, lol

afraid with all the technology now, that is the way of the future!

Sad. I have actually gotten my daughter interested in cursive writing. She commented on "beautiful" my writing was and I said "all it took was practice." Now, she practices, maybe not every day, but every other day.

I personally find cursive writing a waste of time. Print is easier to read and just as fast to write. It's just another font,
