Relying on Monsanto, or any other corporation, to regulate itself or to test its own products, is like the fox guarding the hen house.

How many times are we going to have to be subject to developing a disease or some other health malady only to learn that Monsanto knew of the possibility and didn't do anything about it because they were not required to do so by law?

This corporation is soulless and cares nothing about how its products affects humans or animals or the environment.

Dead right Disenchanted, Monsanto NEVER paid the price for the harm caused by their chemical warfare in Vietnam and many people suffered due to that, along with many other things Monsanto has got away with!!

So we should KILL the product of IGNORANCE...........????????

Instead of taking responsibility for the reason!!!! and
trying harder to find a SOLUTION????????

It is a discussion that will never be settled........
EVER.

Truer words were never spoken. Taking the time to read a label is the best thing you can do for your family.

mountainpalm, your outrage indicates that you believe our only action is to "KILL the product of IGNORANCE" and be done with it.

This is not the case. Bringing this out into the open informs consumers not to blindly buy whatever corporations sell us. Once we are informed of who is doing what only then can we try harder to find a SOLUTION and begin "taking responsibility for the reason".

It sounds as though you are defending Monsanto. Is this true?

Greenpeace publish a GM free list of products here in Spain, are they not permitted to do that in other countries? I know Monsanto tried to destroy a farmer for advertising his milk as GM free in Canada or the US but he finally was allowed to sell as GM free.

mountainpalm, you really seem to be posting comments before you actually read the clips you're commenting on. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and slow down. The clip will still be there to be commented on after you take the time to read it carefully and make sure you're actually responding to what's being said, not to something you're imagining.

[Feel free to delete this, brightlight4 – I'm not trying to be hall monitor in your clips.]

The worst affect of GM isn't illness of humans or cattle!
I remember a hybride rapeseed, the 00 variety, who killed nearly all hares in central Europe during the 60ies.
A hybride is a seed, that is not propageable (?) by itself and overthis could it be accidentally be generated by nature too - but such an occurance would become slowly, so that animals who eat this can align themselves to it.
Or remember what imported plants or animals do in an environment, where they have no rivalry or enemies!
And this are natural evolved lifeforms.
Everybody may read or heard about the dying of bees ...
Einstein said: "If the bees will die, the mankind has to live 4 years more."
