The $ that many spend daily on that crap could, over a working life compound to 10's or even 100's of thousands for retirement. If it wasn't Starbucks it'd be something else. We can't blame them. Its not about condemning the successful. Who thinks that by limiting what the "Bigs" have will somehow allow more for them? I don't think it works like that. Or by limiting the freedoms of capitalism there will be fewer poor? The thing is to hope for the individual spirit to grow out of his petty desires and imagined needs.When it ceases to be important to be SEEN with a Starbucks in our hand or to be inside the store,or we learn that the compulsion for that certain blend of sugar and cream is not ...

Pulling them down will accomplish little. We've got the seeds for the best system. We need to learn how to lift ourselves UP.
