thorswitch says: For the last week or so, Bill O'Reilly has been waging a one-man war against the website DailyKos. One thing he's been doing is going through and pointing out comments left in some threads that express ideas that are, quite frankly, inappropriate, inexcusable and indefensible. O'Reilly's one to talk. Not only do comments at his own site contain comments that are just as inappropriate, inexcusable and indefensible, but Bill O'Reilly himself has been known to make comments that are inappropriate, inexcusable and indefensible himself. Below is a quote from November 2005. I've chosen it because while it's not necessarily a recent quote, it is one that is so heinous that O'Reilly should have lost his job over it. This comment should be spread around as much as possible. Not enough was made of it at the time, but now, since O'Reilly's on his "saying hateful things is bad" campaign, he needs to be taught just what happens when hateful things come out of HIS mouth. The man belongs in "dictator dreamland". Why do people become so hateful when they are pushing a point. Only answer I've come up with is that they don't believe what they are saying and so hide behind a barrier of their noise and attempt to intimidate with body language. (It's no new form of behaviour ) I think the hits to daily kos jumped dramatically because of the attention. There are probably a lot of people that figure if O'reilly doesn't like it, it must have some merit. His railling against the left only serves to strengthen it. truthflag deserves it's own clip! His railling against the left only serves to strengthen it.If only the neocons understood the same in Iraq. Unfortunately, "neocons" and "understanding" RARELY appear in the same concept. IMO, neocons are the living definition of "just don't get it." www.sweetjesusihatebilloreilly.com This site keeps track of the stream of insanity that spews from him... (Best website name ever.) I never paid attention to any cable news outlets, but when I heard that O'Reilly threatened to send Fox security goons after someone just for mentioning Keith Olbermann's name, I decided to catch the next "Countdown" and have been a steady viewer ever since. I hate to admit it, but I'm actually a little (very little) grateful to B.O. for putting me on to K.O. I don't think the ban against handguns would stand scrutiny by the courts, it is unconstitutional. Having said that, Bill'O is juts plain nuts, his mind is burning up, one neuron at a time. One day he is going to scream and then he going to go, pop, thats all she wrote! |
