murieleileen says: Natural foods are also good for your pet. I can tell you that a fresh raw diet works. my cat BW had chronic gingevitis for 4 years. All the vets can do for it is give them cortizone shots. and tell you the cortizone will kill them in a few but it lets them eat. I only took BW for the shot when he totally stopped eating because of the pain. Last year I put him on a raw meat diet and the gingevitis went away. But later he died from the effects of the cortizone. he was 15 which is a good age for a cat, but I believe he would still be here if I had started the fresh diet sooner. cats can live to be 20 and more. Right on! Making fresh food for your pets (and yourself) is the best way to go. |
