"The ravaging of Africa has been enriching Europe and North America for more than 500 years. First European empires imposed slavery and colonialism on the continent. After 1945 the United States took over as the dominant neocolonial power. Through the Pentagon and the CIA the US has fuelled 14 wars in Africa.
Kenya and Rwanda Have Little in Common – Except Colonialism
Another in common with Iraq, was that totally artificial borders were drawn up by white colonialist with no reference to the realities of tribes on the ground, so guarantee the problems we see now.

Prize for a list of former British colonies that have NOT had a subsequent civil war. It's Ok. It's a very very short list.

Every war starts with two people - I say we should all let them battle it out. Total casualties - 1 , 2 if we are lucky.

See what we get for blindly following the orders.

@skwirkinator I was in Europe during the first Gulf War as a student in Germany. I remember a few visits to Amsterdam (ahem) and saw a great t-shirt with a picture of Bush I and Saddam Hussein holding each other's - ahem- with the words "Make love, not war".
