That will be a revolutionary change." Is this the end of the book as we know it? Yes... Exciting stuff, I want one! I still like turning pages. I guess it is the beginning of the end for libraries and bookstores. And for physical books, newspapers or magazines. Regretfully but we have to admit such a inevitable fact. Converting our phones to handy computers with decent browsers and memory let us ability to get any kind of information and enjoy that wonderful sense of discovery. As well as exchange of ideas. I will always prefer books to screens. My reading speed is too fast for something the size of a phone or a handheld, and even laptop and desktop screens don't scroll fast enough to properly keep up with me. I never took a speed reading course - I was able to read from three years of age. |
