I have Clipmarked a video of the confrontation between the protesters and the undercover police.

This is unconscionable and despicable. This was most definitely NOT police officers infiltrating a demonstration to quash those that got out of hand but a group of people intent on instigating a riot.

Time to shake the political monkey tree and start cleaning out the vermin.

How do you know they where not police officers Oortcloud? Its not like some police agencies have done this in the past.

I think you misunderstand what I sat ratilfar, the article indicated that the undercover police where there to simply discover and apprehend any non peaceful protestors - I said that it was obvious that they were not there for that, but they were there instead to instigate a problem.

As I reread my statement I can see how it actually sounds quite different than what I intended it to say. Let me rephrase it to then say "This was most definitely NOT police officers infiltrating a demonstration to quash those that got out of hand, but was instead of group of police officers whose intent was to actually cause trouble"

These are people that have broken the public trust and are abusing the power placed upon them. Hope that made better sense.

Give me a break, identifying them as cops by their boots? Like no one else can buy them eh! You would laugh if the cops identified someone by their boots.

Since the cops admitted that the group was in fact part of their assignment to the protest, no matter how funny it strikes you, Aqualung, ID'ing them by their boots worked. Certainly matching casts from a crime scene to the soles found on a suspect's shoes would seem to be a common occurrence in criminal investigations and prosecutions.

I think the point is that the problem which is found in the countries with the worse civil rights/human rights records is now firmly entrenched in North America. Just because it happens somewhere else should not lessen the fact that it happens at home as well.
