Diana Collins, wife of the CND chair, Canon John Collins, remembered Duff's ‘apparently inexhaustible energy’, adding that ‘her resilience and her organising skills were phenomenal, all the more so because these gave no appearance of efficiency, in fact seemed thoroughly slapdash, but the results were remarkable’  (Collins, 231–2).
