No idea what type of implications this may have, but it sure seems huge to me. Man, the energy revolution is kicking into high gear!!!!

This is great news in conjunction with the announcement that the President is authorizing the immediate construction of 7 brand-spanking-new refineries.

I agree; momentum continues to build which is great. Also sounds like a smart hedge for China.

Or Iran. Because Ahmedinejad is the President authorizing these refineries. So, you are saying Iran is a Banana Republic?

It sure is. At least nearly so. Though they don't have the precip in the south to pull off growing bananas.

The funny thing is..is that if the refineries were built in the US they would be much cleaner than the ones built in Iran, Venezuela, and China because of our environmental standards. The world will always need refineries. Too bad they have to all be built in the 3rd world where they cause the most damage.

How about we build to first full polluting on in your backyard?

That's not a very good attitude to have about wanting to put refineries in other countries. Besides 99 percent of America is not residential. I doubt anyone would need my yard, but I'm willing to take bids.
