Reminds me of another extremely unlikely baseball video. The pitcher hit a bird with a fast ball in a game. I think it knocked every single feather off the bird on impact. Just Googled it and it was Randy Johnson. When I first saw that photo, I thought the guy was holding a machine gun and everyone around him was ducking for cover. Those expressions are priceless. Some photographer out there was on the ball (so to speak). I love baseball. Anything and everything can happen. I miss the days & nights I used to spend at Shea, sitting field level - infield (usually 1st base side) with my scorecard. I have every single yearbook from 1962 to the late 90's. You would not believe the prices! In the seventies I went regularly. That was when baseball was still magical. When "The sign man" was at Shea, the days of "You Gotta Believe". The 80's were great too, but I didn't go as often. I do have my signed and authenticated plaque of Mookie's ball going through Bill Buckner's legs. Sorry, alanocu. I didn't mean to get so carried away with memories. Now baseball is all about $$$ and there will be no more Shea. A... Well I enjoyed reading your comment kkcapricorn!
