TheCatWhisperer says: ilson, explaining why he and his friends were prepared to offer $1 million to a young Georgia man they had never met, said Wilson seemed to have overcome many obstacles in his life to achieve academic and athletic success. this part just blows my mind: State Atty. Gen. Thurbert Baker appealed the decision, saying that the judge had no authority to reduce or modify the ruling and that the punishment must stand to ensure Georgia's 1,300 child molesters remained behind bars.Well, Thurbert, actually, if any of those 1300 child molesters are in jail under similar circumstances, then they should probably have their sentances reviewed as well. However, if they are actuall child molesters, as in raped children, or sexually assaulted, molested or harassed children (not a consentual act with someone 2 years thier junior when they were 18) then no one in their right mind is going to say.. "hey! but THA... The article said he was 17 when he did it. So wouldn't he also be the victim of molestation? What about the person who videotaped it (assuming it was a third person)? Shouldn't they be considered a pornographer? ::shaking head:: I wish this judge had ruled in the case where the guy raped the 10 year-old because "she looked 16." Great clips! |
