Hunnybun says: I love finding this wierd stuff out....and the last one is true....I did it too!!!!!! hahaha - ya, I tried too. Yea me too, thats 100% so far. looks like your clip was wrong. LOL heh, heh, I tried it also. I did lick my elbow lol! I tried too. Skwirl..lol..now that's just plain impressive, you must have the bendiest arm on the planet....go on, tell us your secret!!!!! 18" tongue 18" tongueWhy do I suddenly find Skwil appealing? *LMAO* That "golf" thing is wrong - nobody knows the origin of the word. The Oxford English Dictionary mentions the possiblility that it's derived from Old Norse "kolfr", or "stick", but is not definitive on that score. The earliest mention of "honeymoon" was in the 16th century. If it had been derived from ancient Babylon, the Babylonian word would have been used; it would not have been translated. The only thing certain is that it is of purely English (British) origin. Most of the other stuff on that page is a crock, too - like the horse statue bit and the Kennedy-Lincoln spiel. |
