Capitalism 3.0 would probably be better named Socialism 2.0.

Think of all the money (not to mention lives) taxpayers lost to fund the Iraq war which will only make Haliburton and the other war profiteers rich. How bad could Socialism 2.0 (or whatever) be?

When men screw over other men, its called Socialism. When the opposite happens, its called capitalism.

I can think of far more things the government spends money on that it doesn't need to be involved in than national security. But this is above and beyond taxes. We are talking a group of people taking your money to spend them on what they deem as worthy causes without you having any say. This isn't government spending (which is out of control), but something even more. Think of the outrage you would have Bush passed a bill where 20% of your paycheck went to a group of churches who would decide where to spend it. This is no different.

And furthermore, the legalized ripoff known as the Defense Department must end. Why does "Big Brother" get to decide that they know better than I do whether I should spend my money on military expenditures or a new Xbox? If I feel I need more military, I am quite competent to research the matter and but a portion of a tank or whatever other equipment strikes me as best. It's creeping socialism, I tell you!!!
