They can be helped. The world came to support us after that horrible day and for a moment we all seemed connected. Together we could have figured out a solution to these wayward brothers and sisters. Instead the leaders saw it as an opportunity to return to their old ways and seek out and destroy. The old unenlightened approach of an eye for an eye, ego against ego doesn’t work anymore. As Gandhi said this only makes everyone blind.
