Righthand, there are many different parameters and aspects about the latest political quake in Turkey and (I believe) just a fraction of it is related to the situation in Iraq and the Middle East question. The thrilling thing is, for the first time in Turkey's history, the status quo is being questioned thoroughly at the "government level". Our 85-year-old of Republic witnessed 3 "hard" coups and many military interventions but none of the coup organizers or junta leaders ever been brought to trial by the name of democracy and justice.
