They had a blurb on our show Daily Planet on this cloaking device..or research I should say..and apparently they're very close..it's kinda like bending light waves in water around a rock..it seems like it is somewhere else..I guess it all has to do with bending light anyway. Fascinating stuff. Who'da thunk it eh?

They do say that it's much better for using on things that don't move, like buildings (or conservatives?).
They also considered making someone look like a black hole, but it was too heavy.
They also don't mention how noisy the coats are. They could sound like anything from silk to a plastic raincoat.
Of course there's the critical piece of advice..never carry a mobile phone..unless it has a silent ring tone.
