I always did best in my classes where the professors used power point. Read it, Hear it, and write it. it sunk in much better all around.

I am so glad to hear this. I really hate powerpoints and almost never use them.

I despise powerpoints, expecially in school. It turns the professors into Lazy Bums, they simply regurgitate the powerpoint which most likely came from whatever book they had us buy. Therefore it made the class pointless, you may as well stay home and just read the book. Damn lazy ass bum professors we seem to be getting more and more and more of them.

I disagree, I think PP is fantastic and has helped clarify things for me on many occasions.

"Humans just don't like absorbing information verbally and visually at the same time" ... So does that apply to documentary work as well ? And to speech ?

Interesting article anyway !

Thanks.

Some PPs are great where others are horrible. It's the way one uses the tool.

Anything worth doing in powerpoint can be done with less overhead using excel (mostly graphs) and word with large fonts.
