Perhaps I'm paranoid , but I can not help but think within the lines of some sci-fi stuff: If we put computers in our brains, will they one day take over our minds?
After all we wouldn't know any different if they controlled our thoughts, and if we did know, it wouldn't matter if they controlled our actions. It puts me in mind of a short story I read in high school, I don't remember half of it but essentially robots took over and wouldn't let humans do anything for themselves because it might be dangerous.
Except perhaps in certain cases, wheremight help someone who has a disabillity, it sounds like a bad idea to me.
