This got me thinking and wondering.... How does the "Only Child" ever learn about recycling clothing? Perhaps some kind of BB/BS network exists allowing the "only child" to link up with a Big Brother or Big Sister so they too can experience and learn the value of "hand-me-downs".

Take them to boot sales, second hand shops and thrift stores.

... or, you could teach your only child how to offer "hand me downs" to other kids and/or their parents on fullcircles or freecycle groups.
