I guess I'm simply frustrated at the fact that dancing for me is social suicide- When we migrated out of Africa and went north into Ice Age Europe we didn't need as much pigment to block the ultra-violet rays of the sun. So in the course of about 15-20 k years we went cracker- It's all good to me, and if I went back to Africa and my gene pool remained for the same length of time, I might not be so afraid when KC and the Sunshine Band come on at the bar- I hide like the hunted do when chased by dogs- I've lost more potential bar -relationships because I won't- no simply CAN'T dance to save my life. I need something to blame, and watching "country line dancing" seems to me like a very suitable scapegoat.
