thisnamecantbetaken says: Pay up, America. There is no end in sight. I don’t think Americans are concerned if we’re there for one hundred years or a thousand years or ten thousand years. - John McCain Well, couldn't we just get everybody to agree not to fight any more? A translated letter from al-Qaeda’s leadership to their Iraq organization shows the Bush administration’s “stay the course” Iraq strategy is exactly what Al Qaeda wants: "The most important thing is that you continue in your jihad in Iraq, and that you be patient and forbearing, even in weakness, and even with fewer operations; even if each day had half of the number of current daily operations, that is not a problem, or even less than that. So, do not be hasty. The most important thing is that the jihad continues with steadfastness and firm rooting, and that it grows in terms of supporters, strength, clarity of justification, and visible proof each day. Indeed, prolonging the war is in our interest, with God’s permission. Another Friedman unit? I think not! yeah...another FU ratilfar... In our house, we are just counting down from 400 and a wake-up till our soldier returns from Iraq deployment 3.0. That's a little more than 2 FUs to those who are actually counting. Theoretically, by then we'll know twice as much as we need to know! Problem with FUs appears to be that their starting date is always today. DD: I am sorry. May yours be home safely and soon. |
