Didn't you respond to a question earlier regarding the first Amendment..

"Who is wanting religion imposed on them? We just want the government to stay out of our religion and they are not."

To which you said: "Right. Nobody is arguing for a theocratic state."

This answers that first question quite well, doesn't it?

What are you talking about? The Archbishop is not a member of congress and is simply exercising his right to religion.

Noting the aggressive "secular" culture...

He's trying to bring more Hispanics into the religious fold whereby the Catholic religion, as it always does, try to dictate to its flock how to vote.

Are you telling me they don't?

The aggressive evangelicalism is "mostly" to control the vote. It's all I hear. It's not peace, love, and do unto others, its hate the gay, stop reproduction rights, prevent marriage of same sex couples, stop science from teaching real knowledge.

Face it, you don't want separation of church and state, you want to impose your dogma on the rest of free society.

But be careful what you ask for, because the Muslim religion w...

And?

It would be schizophrenic or hypocritical to separate one's faith from any other aspect in their life. Including and especially in the wide spectrum of morality.

And our nation is a republic not a "pure democracy" where the majority dictates law. The only way our nation would become a theocracy (like nations under sharia law) is if we detracted from the Constitution.

That's what I'm afraid of. And you have lots of revisionists claiming our constitution is somehow christian or based on christianity. The constitution then quickly goes by the way-side the with christian mullahs in control trying to subvert science and freedom. We go back into the dark ages of superstition and injustice.

Education boards trying to pawn off creationism as science. Presidential candidates having to declare a faith in a god, even though the constitution specifically prohibits such a requirement. Massively funded political campaigns by religious organizations. Wars being waged for religious reasons. Human rights being stifled for religious reasons... The list goes on.

They still believe in witches in Africa and kill them. Superstition is not knowledge, it's faith in a belief unsupported by evidence or reason. This is what I mean by Dark Ages.

But you already know all of this. You want to perpetuate the superstition because you believe it elevates your station among men.

Why else would you sa...

Article VI

"...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United Sates."

How could you not know this? What are they teaching you in that confine? More revisionist history? It's right there in the Constitution (the one written by our Founding Fathers).

They clearly wanted to keep church separated from state and for good reason. They had seen it all before! And the results.
