I think its interesting that the positive self-talk had a more positive effect on the Black kids than the White ones. It's amazing how sterotypes can effect us. I wish more kids were told that they CAN do something.

Thanks dorrine! We never stop to think how our relationship with people can have such a tremendous impact on that person's life. One word, one gesture, or one touch can change that person's life forever and you may not even realize it. I try to keep that in mind when I'm working with people...so I hope that someone feels like I've helped them. Who knows
