Hmm, with the allegations that the U.S. is "arrogant and dismissive" toward Europe coming from the President and appointment of people like Harold Koh who favor application of foreign law to U.S cases, you can't help but wonder if we won't get the benefits of European law without ever having voted on any of it. If it would benefit their agendas, I'd wager that treaties the U.S. is not a party to may also fall under this theory.
