anonymology says: Either I just don't get them, or they just don't work. Yoono is to designed to 'suggest' pages for you to view based on what you have stored on your bookmarks. I think it's also supposed to keep your bookmarks stored so that they can be synced on a number of machines. Frankly, it does neither of these things. (1) It 'couldn't find any sites' for me when it was trying to recommend them (I have hundreds of bookmarks so it wasn't for a lack of material) and when it did recommend something, it was one of my own bookmarks! (2) My bookmarks on the Yoono server were never updated no matter how many times I changed them and then 'synced' them. Bookmarks from months ago are still on the server and have clearly never been synced. In addition, it really slows FF down. Rubbish. Blueorganizer looked interesting but was very disappointing. When I opened 'my' folders to see what it was all about, there were 65 items already in them that I hadn't ever put there. Trying to then delete them crashed my FF. I'm sure there's some very good reasons why they were there, but 'advertising' is not what I look for in my FF extensions. It's relatively easy to use, but it doesn't do anything that Google Notebook won't do quickly and easily. Don't bother with it. |
