n2sooners says: This really changed the way I view a lot of the liberal posts here at Clipmarks and elsewhere. This really validated the way I view Conservatives and Reactionary Clips here at Clipmarks and of course, elsewhere. A study funded by the US government has concluded that conservatism can be explained psychologically as a set of neuroses rooted in "fear and aggression, dogmatism and the intolerance of ambiguity". All of them "preached a return to an idealized past and condoned inequality". *applause* @ jmackin "a set of neuroses rooted in fear and aggression, dogmatism, and the intolerance of ambiguity (close-mindedness - needing - "final" answers not set in concrete) is a perfect way to describe those who fall in line with the current administration. It is gratifying to see that many who have in the past considered themselves "conservative" Yeah we don't need Democrates and all their scentist spouting out their emotional jibberish. Our health care is perfect just ask the vets with all the red tape for bandages and money for college. Franklin Roosevelt brought the troops home early with that bill that promised too much and rewarded them so that they didn't wan't to go to Nam to fight those comies, or was that a civil war, no wait thats what the hippies said. Our pure evagilistic logic with the truth of jesus will show those preaching jesus look alikes. even though jesus pronounced for peace wore long hair and we don't read all the message he left us we can certainly draw up an angery crowd. Yes anger no emotion in that pure reas... Hmmm.... this made my ears bleed. Yet.... after enduring this diatribe, I decided to substitute his liberal for conservative and his "little country" for any other little country and you couldn't tell where to draw the lines anymore. classic! One of these days conservatives will discover web 2.0 projects and I'll be happy to read comments Jmackin, Please cite the source for this information. I'd really really like to read the actual study. All of them "preached a return to an idealized past and condoned inequality". Awesome clip n2sooners! It's pretty easy to mindlessly bash a video. I would like to see a liberal try to use logic to show why they think Sayet is wrong in the video. I think he's hit the mark on all counts. And the comments support the message of the video. We have Christian bashing (of a self-identified Jew), implication that conservative thought is some mental aberration, but no actual argument or logical thought to counter the message given. The enemy of liberals is logical, rational, conscious, discriminating thought. |
