Andy Greenberg says: Turns out that Google isn't making hardware...no big surprise there. But if it contracts a handset maker (like HTC, as Forbes writer Brian Caulfield has reported) to build the phone and then installs its own innovative OS, that could still offer real competition to the iPhone. Okay, now that makes sense...did not get the whole handset thing from Google... Not only an operating system, the also are into buying frequencies, (probably) the hardware too and basically take over the world with statistically viable algorithms that will decide everything for us, just as we would if only we wanted to think and choose. |
