As the dominant male in a group of gorillas being built up at the zoo, preparations are being made for him to father a family.

Bobby, a 24-year-old western lowland gorilla, is in peak breeding age and has regular health checks to ensure he is in top physical condition. He even has the services of a Harley Street dentist to look after his teeth.
