The United States and the European Union already prohibit the import of dog and cat fur. Now it's time for Canada to follow suit! Tell Prime Minister Harper and Agriculture Minister Ritz that you do not support the import of cat and dog fur - or the commercial seal slaughter.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize we had no regulation on fur labeling! Yeah that needs to change. About the seals though... I'm totally against the seal hunts as well. Although, if those seals were sold to market (meaning if I could find seal meat in a friggin' local grocery store) I'd be slightly less pissed, because at least they wouldn't be going to waste instead of mostly being left on the ice to rot.
