Impeachment procedures against Bush and Cheney would allow Americans to show the rest of the world that America has not permanently lost her way. We could garner respect and once again hold our heads high.

As McGovern sid, tho it will probably take a generation to restore any credibility that Bush/Cheny have squandered, not that I thought we really had much, anyway, but that was the perception.

As I said before, it would be a great thing for the nutroots to come out of the shadows and get their representatives in Washington to do even more of their bidding. It would help the conservative cause and it would also be good to tie Congress up in knots for the next year. Any day they can't ban lightbulbs or raise taxes is a good day.
