I'm not surprised by this. I've talking quite a bit lately about my opinion that too many of the new companies/services on the web are targeting the same "techie" audience. It upsets me, because i think the internet has so much more to offer everyone. One of the goals that most motivates about clipmarks is trying to provide people who are not techies, not gamers and not necessarily looking to get laid via the web a place to exchange interesting news, information, opinions, etc. It's not that those types of people aren't welcome here, it's just that i really don't want to only appeal to them. So far, based on the diversity of clips and comments on the site, i think we're doing a good... Most of the people that I know that have computers don't go online because the did and got all filled up with spyware and viruses because they had no idea what 'not' to click on. Their high dollar investment starts to act up or not act at all and they say "screw that" and unplug completely. Can you blame them? Most of us know what 'NO TO CLICK' but imagine how many people that don't know better click those enticing offers. Someone should make a warning program that runs as soon as a pc goes online the first times. More people would be online. Information overload is a problem. Sometimes you just need to tune out and turn off. skwirlinator -- Tell your friends to buy Macs. Viruses? I know not these viruses of which you speak!
