If Mr. Obama were not black, he would not be the Democratic nominee today. My only consolation if he is elected will be that affirmative action would be rendered moot by anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty.

If Obama was running on the GOP ticket with all his associations coming to light, he would have been finished, defeated long ago. Conservatives would never have allowed him to become their nominee. Not only would he have lost all hope of becoming the next president, it most likely would have ended his political career.

However, since he's a liberal, he only shines that much brighter.
