While, I'm usually reticent to reference wiki, this is a
point that is common knowledge.

Clark commanded Operation Allied Force in the Kosovo War during his term as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1997 to 2000. Some of Clark's command decisions during the conflict, such as his statements at press briefings and his actions at Priština International Airport, were heavily criticized. At times, he had a difficult relationship with Secretary of Defense William Cohen and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Hugh Shelton, which led to rumors Clark was forced into retirement, though both he and the Department of Defense said his retirement was merely standard personnel movement.

Does he even know that McCain is running against Barack Obama, a man with no experience at anything ever.

Does anyone remeber that McCain was a murdering napalm dropping pilot and was no "heroooooo" but a war criminal and deserved to be shot down?

Clark is right. But then I thought that any man that wore the uniform deserved our unquestioned adoration? Oh wait, no, only if he parrots whatever line the Republicans are feeding us this week. Also consider (anyone else but the clipper here) how consistently wrong McCain has been on Iraq, that is the kind of experience the world can do without.

Yes, Papa, John McCain, a man who voluntarily joined the service. Served with distinction and dropped bombs is a war criminal. Do you have any idea how stupid that comment is? Do you even know what a war criminal is?

Rat, what exactly is Clark right about? If John McCain's service for 20 years in the military doesn't qualify him to be Commander in Chief, what is Barack's background qualifies him?

And swkirl... tsk, tsk, tsk. Such colorful language. I'll tell you what, you spend half a decade in a prison cell getting your brains kicked in and see how well your life turns out afterwords. Do you think you would be able to resist? Do you think you would turn down the offer to be released from your prison cell because you didn't think it was right for you to get an early reprieve based on who your father was? Would you stay in the military after your release? Would you be able to function, much less go on to command the largest air wing in the US Navy? Would you be able to go to serve your government as a Senator. Would you go against your own party to cross the lines and work wit...

voting a cowardly present 60 times?
Quit acting like you understand how the Illinois Legislature works. Ever been to Springfield, sillysam? Know any Illinois legislators, sillysam? Put a sock in it yourself.

Barack Obama, a man with no experience at anything ever.
Anything? Ever?? Wow, had no idea he was so green. God, I regret my primary vote now. What was I thinking?

You still don't have to call him a f&^%^ leprechaun

Ok Dulios why don't you fill me in on the Robert's Rules of the Illinois legislature.
We aren't talking about a "present" vote on whether to name a state office building after a deceased state official, but rather about votes that reflect an officeholder's core values.

For example, in 1997, Obama voted "present" on two bills (HB 382 and SB 230) that would have prohibited a procedure often referred to as partial birth abortion. He also voted "present" on SB 71, which lowered the first offense of carrying a concealed weapon from a felony to a misdemeanor and raised the penalty of subsequent offenses.

In 1999, Obama voted "present" on SB 7...

This is all based upon the pretense of an individual saying 'I want to be president' where it should be based on the country deciding one person be president.

"Here, I want to be president"
OK I nominate you

Instead of

"Hey, We want you to be President"
Ok, I will do my best
