It wasn't that long ago that the Secret Service was sued for racial discrimination. A similar suit was settled in the early 1990s.

And unlike McCain, Obama actually engages his audience, even when they heckle him. No loyalty oaths or getting kicked out because a staffer doesn't like your T-shirt.
