while my doc has always been a big supporter of triaminic night time cold/cough--- and there were plenty of nights i don't know what i would have done w/o it---there is now more than enough speculation for me to know it is MUCH safer to let me kids cough out colds than the possible consequences. There is now way too much speculation on this issue for me to give my kids anything but standard fever reducers (tylenol, motrin)

Wow, I had heard under the age of two so I was glad to find this. I'll ask my dr at the next well child check. I feel the same way. My 18 month old has been fighting a nasty cold all weekend and I've only given her good ole Ibuprofen to keep her fever down (of course she's teething too)
