Under the guise that the National Guard can not handle major catastrophes. Husband was in the military and served in the National Guard. The Guard needs to be beefed up. However, even with the current climate in my Country, I can't see our military being used against it's citizens. I believe that, with their patriotism still in tact, they would not allow themselves to undermine our rights. Down the road...maybe.
