I don't think there is any single individual in US history who has managed to bring such havoc as GWB and the sycophants who catered to him. The mere thought of the man makes my stomach churn.

As much as I despise the King St. George Dumbfuck he is not alone in the blame for all this havoc and misery we've suffered with as 'Merrikans (not nearly a fraction as much as the Iraqis and Afghanis)--he is a very good hand-picked puppet of Cheney and his Neocon cronies who thought up all this "endless war for oil" crap in the first place...and factor in the greed and ignorance and of people willing to believe such devious and cynical ideology, add in a willing corporate media, defense contractors with $$ in their eyes and empty souls, a fooled, duped and ignorant nation of sheeple...and there ya go.
Bush is just the ridiculous, dumbass sore thumb sticking out of an evil hand on a corrupt...

It is stretching the truth to blame the credit crisis on the Iraq War. The Fed was dropping interest rates to low values long before the Iraq War - it started in Jan 2001, and then really started to pump up the economy after 9/11. By the time the Iraq War started it was pretty much done - it cut interest rates 13 times before the war started, and only once afterwards. Maybe you could blame the war for how long interest rates were kept low - the Fed didn't start raising them until more than a year after the war started - but the initial plan was clearly motivated by worries about the economy after 2000 and 9/11, not primarily to pay for the war.

I sort of swung away from the 9/11 conspiracy because as Naom Chomsky said, someone would have blabbed by now. Also watching the conservatives carry on about climate change is an ugly enough site to make you think.
Then you read about the way the economy, and therefore the Americans, has been ripped off to fatten the pockets of a few old people and continue some power seeking group from a b-grade horror movie. Maybe the conspiracy theories were correct. The bastards would do anything.
